Almost two decades later, the infamous words from Avenue Q are true more now that ever. Porn, (or at least sexually suggestive content), is everywhere on the internet. It is practically impossible to escape. From advertisements using sex to sell cabbages, to thirst trap TikToks, even if it’s not overly pornographic, sexualised content is only becoming more prevalent online. Should I avoid watching porn?

What’s ethical porn?
Free porn platforms often pirate videos from the original creators, meaning the creators and performers can’t profit from their work.
