For young people, by young people
We are a peer-led youth project run by the Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA). YEP provides FREE peer-led workshops for young people aged 12-25 on a variety of sexual health and relationship topics thanks to our funding from the Department of Health’s SHBBV Program. We can offer a one-off session or a workshop series (up to 5 weeks). Whilst YEP provides education sessions to all young people, sessions with high populations from the SHBBV target populations will be prioritised (Aboriginal, CaLD, LGBTIQA+, young women, injecting drug users, people involved in the justice system, people involved in the care system or experiencing homelessness). We primarily service the Perth Metro area, but also travel regionally to service communities periodically, dependent on funding. YEP can also provide resources and interactive activities at stalls and community events. If you have specific requests that go beyond our usual scope, we also have some capacity to deliver other fee-for-service trainings.
2025 bookings are open for March to December.
Youth workshop bookings will be prioritised to services who have already received or who also book professional development sessions.
Whilst you wait for your workshop, make sure to check out our resources to support you to develop your own sexual health sessions in your community.
