International Overdose Day 2016 in Perth – Hosted by WASUA

Remembrance Tree, Hyde Park, Perth

Location: At the Remembrance Tree, Hyde Park, Perth; (close to the Glendower st/Lake st entrance).

Type of Event: Please join us at the Remembrance Tree in Hyde Park for International Overdose Awareness Day, 31/08/16, 12pm-3pm.

There will be a sausage sizzle and free food provided.

We will be commemorating those we have lost, raising awareness of Opioid Overdose, and providing information about what community members can do to prevent and manage overdose.

Please come and get a feed, leave a memorial leaf on the Remembrance Tree, commemorate those we have lost, and meet members of your community.

Learn how you can help prevent overdose deaths, including how and where to get naloxone (Narcan) to reverse Opioid Overdoses.

This event is supported by WASUA, Hepatitis WA, WAAC, The Red Cross, and the Mental Health Commission.
