Harmony Week Debate – Office of Multicultural Interests

Date & Time
March 21, 2018 at 09:00

State Library of WA Theatre
25 Francis Street

You and your students are invited to a panel debate on the topic Cultural Diversity is a Threat to the Australian Way of Life. The topical debate, hosted by the Office of Multicultural Interests, will bring together opinions and ideas from both sides of the fence and encourage open and honest dialogue among young people.

The moderated debate will feature students from WA’s five universities and the Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA). Audience members will provide a popular vote on the outcome to offset the official judgment of a panel from academia.

The debate will be moderated by SBS’s WA correspondent, Kyle Brown.

For more information contact: Catherine Colvin, Strategy and Planning, Office of Multicultural Interests, via phone 6552 1652 or email catherine.colvin@omi.wa.gov.au

Please RSVP by Friday 10 March to harmony@omi.wa.gov.au
