The YEP Project presenting at the 2017 AAAH Youth Health Conference!!!

The YEP Project is excited to announce that they will be presenting at the 2017 Youth Health Conference in Sydney hosted by the Australian Association for Adolescent Health (AAAH). YEP Senior Project Officer Anania and YEP Crew Peer Educator Susan will be presenting ‘The Positive Power of Peers – The YEP Project’ on the first day of the conference.

This is the first time that this iteration of the YEP Project will be presenting on a national scale, so we’re very humbled and extremely excited to have been chosen!!!

Meet the team

Vanessa Vlajkovic

Hi! My name is Nessa and I’m 20 years old. I’m studying Journalism at Edith Cowan University, with a Public Relations minor. I am an avid reader, writer, traveller and cheerleader. I’m also a passionate advocate for the deafblind community, and for other types of disability. I’ve been on the committee of the Youth Disability Advocacy Network (YDAN) at YACWA for a few months, and through them have developed a desire to become a YEP volunteer, as I want to expand my horizons.
