Community Needs Assessment – Freedom Centre

Freedom Centre is currently undertaking a community needs assessment, where we are asking LGBTIQ+ young people under the age of 26+ to provide feedback on our service and how we can improve our model to be more accessible/relevant to young people.

This assessment has a particular focus on:

–          Women who are attracted to women

–          Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTIQ+ young people

–          Culturally and/or Linguistically Diverse LGBTIQ+ young people

However, anyone from the community can participate and provide feedback. The results are anonymous, and will be used to create recommendations for Freedom Centre to guide changes in service delivery.

I am extremely passionate about politics, advocacy and education and I’m so fortunate to be working with YEP in the space of peer education.
